The Ad​ministrative Training and Development Department has the following powers and duties:

  • 1-Identifying the training needs of Council staff, in coordination with different administrative units.

  • 2- Preparing the annual training plan with the relevant administrative units and implementing this after approval by concerned bodies.

  • 3- Evaluating internal and external training programmes through employee performance.

  • 4- Preparing the required studies on planning and linking training programmes to the career path of every employee.

  • 5- Planning and directing training activities.

  • 6- Designing and implementing employee training programmes and assessing performance results.

  • 7- Coordinating employee participation in formal assignments inside and outside the country.​ ​​​​​​​
