The International Cooperation Unit has the following powers and duties:

  • Preparing working papers for the local, regional and international conferences, forums and meetings related to Council activities, in coordination with the relevant administrative units and competent bodies.
  • Preparing for attending conferences, meetings, joint work committees, technical and similar committees related to Council activities.
  • Preparing the reports and responses requested by regional and international organisations and bodies, regarding the activities of the Council, in coordination with the competent administrative units.
  • Preparing the required reports on the regional and international participation of the Council, in coordination with the competent bodies.
  • Managing the payment of contributions due for the membership of international and regional bodies, in coordination with the relevant administrative units.
  • Collecting information and research issued by related bodies about court work locally, regionally and internationally, and publishing this for the benefit of others.
  • Studying and analysing draft international and regional conventions, managing their implementation and preparing reports on them, in coordination with the relevant administrative units.
  • Participating in preparing draft conventions related to court jurisdiction, in coordination with the competent bodies.
  • Translating documents, books, scientific studies and foreign correspondence related to the jurisdiction of the Council.​
