The buildings of the SJC were illuminated in blue, in solidarity with the international campaign, undertaken by the organisation through illuminating prominent buildings and landscapes all over the world in this colour to highlight autism; in order to raise awareness in society regarding this condition, its causes and treatment, and to rectify common misconceptions about it, in addition to the best ways to deal with it.

It is noteworthy that declaring 2 April of every year as a world day for raising awareness about autism came from a suggestion submitted by Qatar and adopted by the UN General Assembly.
