H.E. Mr Masoud Mohamed Al-Ameri, President of the Court of Cassation and President of the Supreme Judiciary Council, and H.E. Mr Mustafa Faris, Senior President of the Court of Cassation in the Kingdom of Morocco, signed a twinning agreement between the Qatari Court of Cassation and the Moroccan Court of Cassation.
The twinning agreement handles the organisation of cooperation and coordination between both courts in the fields of internal organisation of the two courts and their departments and divisions, in addition to agreeing to hold discussions and joint seminars between the judges of both courts and periodically exchanging judicial principles and provisions. By virtue of the agreement, a supervisory entity in charge of monitoring performance of the articles and requirements of the agreement and discussing the domains of cooperation and coordination between both courts was established, chaired by the Presidents of both Courts.
The signature of the judicial twinning agreement was attended on behalf of Morocco by H.E. President of the Constitutional Council and H.E. Public Attorney of the King in the Court of Cassation and from Qatar by H.E. Mr Abdul Aziz Bin Abdulrahman Turki Al Subaie, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Morocco and the delegation accompanying the President of the Supreme Judiciary Council.
